The practice

Koosje Janssen runs Koos Zorgenloos, an orthomolecular therapy practice in the Netherlands focused on chronic gut conditions, SIBO, and post-viral recovery. Her patients arrive after years of being told their symptoms are not real. The work is long, careful, and protocol-heavy. A first consultation can run 90 minutes.

That kind of clinical depth produces a documentation problem. Every session generates a dense thread of history, lab context, supplement protocols, and follow-up actions. Before Meelio, capturing it took most of her evening.

What she tried first

Koosje stitched together two tools.

Fireflies recorded the consultation, but it joined as a meeting bot. Patients saw it sitting in the call. For people who had spent years being dismissed, the optics of an AI bot in their session was not neutral. It interrupted the trust she had built.

After the call, she pasted the Fireflies transcript into ChatGPT to turn it into a clinical note. ChatGPT did not understand orthomolecular protocols. It missed nuance, flattened her language, and lost the structure she had built her practice on. She rewrote most of every note by hand.

Two subscriptions. Hours of rewriting after every consultation. Around three hours a day, lost.

What changed with Meelio

Meelio replaced the bot, the transcripts, and the rewriting.

The recording happens in the background of her existing consultation. There is no bot in the room. The note generates in her voice, with the orthomolecular protocol structure she built her practice on. By the time her patient stands up to leave, the note is ready.

The two subscriptions are gone. The evening rewrites are gone. The bot is gone.

The result

Three hours back every day. Around €480 a year saved on tooling. And, more importantly to her, a consultation that feels like a consultation again, not a recording session with a bot.
